Has anyone come up with a clever method for protecting a solar sensor outside from the elements like moisture (rain, dew, snow) and also ensuring that it doesn't get covered with snow buildup? I thought of some type of plexiglass pyramid with holes in the base for venting and possible draining...
I did get the coating, but I still don't like the idea of moisture draining through the case on a regular basis.
fyi, I have a temperature/solar sensor, but don't really care about the temperature readings from this. In my testing, even the DS18S20 seems to be way off when compared to the reading from my weather station...
Thanks for any ideas,
Brent
