Is it correct that only Somfy ILT RS-485 motors can communicate their position back to an HA system and that the RTS (wireless) and ILT dry contact motors are effectively one-way communication only?
The Sonesse RS-485 motors also have dry contact inputs. I am not sure if the ILT motors have both available. But I don't think you can order the cheaper dry contact versions and expect the serial interface to work.
But otherwise no you would have to install your own rotary encoder or something.
