I had a chance to look through all of the information for someone who was thinking of becoming a dealer.
It appears to be limited and not very expandable. Somfy seems to want to control lighting, window shades and thermostats, but not much more.
All in all, for what it does, it looked reasonably solid to me and priced OK for a dealer installed system.
BTW, I'm a little rusty on what I looked at since it's been a few weeks, but as I recall it doesn't do any form of security. Estmated typical installation runs about $5,000 - $6000. You can do a lot of DIY for that amount and have complete control over what you do.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking the product. It's well thought out, uses the better components and is no doubt typically Somfy quality. It's perfect for the non-DIY home owner who wants basic control of things around them at an affordable price point.
