I tried searching audiogon and ebay so I can get an idea how much I should sell my Yamaha rxv1400 receiver. How do you price yours? It is in excellent condition, no scratches with manual, with box, with YPAO mic. IIRC, I bought it for $690 back in 2004 from Tweeter. Is $450 fine?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Neil

are you saying you searched ebay and didn't find any, or you're looking for input on another method of pricing? I always go by ebay. If you say you didn't find any, try again with "yamaha rx-v1400". That returns 1, and a 2400 also. In the absence of ebay hits on something I'm trying to sell, I usually search for the next step up (RX-v1500 I guess? v2500?) and know that I'll have to be below that.

That helped. I typed RXV-1400 that's why it wasn't finding it.

Thanks!

Hehe..I figured. I did a few quick ebay searches for multiple Yamaha's, and they all came back empty, which I found hard to believe. So I tried something different, and there it was. back when I was looking to buy a V1500, there was always at least 10 of them listed, so I knew there HAD to be at least one out there.
