Stock Market

I recently got back into the stock market. I figured that the chances are good that the market will rebound one day since all the experts say it will. So I am buying stocks now and hoping they will go up with the market. Do any of you play the market? Are there any stocks you think I should take a good look at? Right now I have 5 stocks. BAC, RIG, WWE, HGSI, DIS. All but HGSI seem to be doing well. I selected some of them only for their dividens.

I got into TIS a while back, they're the low cost paper manufacturer in the US. All the $1 store tissue paper/towels/etc is from them. They went from about $7 in Nov and the 12 months before that to nearly double today. Dunno if that's now overvalued, all depends on how long you think we'll be in recession.

Same basic theory though - any company that produces low-cost crap that folks need is going to do well. I.E., Spam is selling like gangbusters, they need to keep the factory open 7 days/week and are running double & triple shifts.

For non-targeted purchases, I just stick with index funds; there's a very low annual fee, and nobody ever beats the damn market anyhow.
