Strange problem with arming station

I have an arming station near my garage door. If I press the "Stay" button, even multiple times, nothing happens. It beeps, but the system does not arm. If I press the Exit button, it arms on Away mode. Then, if I disarm with a code using that same keypad, the Stay button magically works again. I don't know how long it stays working for, but if I go back to it a few hours later, it no longer works until I arm and disarm again.

The arming station is running firmware 1.0.8.

It worked fine when I originally installed it for at least a couple of months. But it's been giving me problems now for at least 3-4 months. Bad arming station? I have another one in a box that I could swap in, but I wanted to check here before I took it out and replaced it.

It's only the Stay functionality that's flaking out, everything else works fine. And the button itself beeps when I press it, so I doubt it's a bad button.

I do not have an arming station, so I cant verify, but are there any special settings in RP for the actions of the buttons? do you have stay checked in RP under the area stay key scrolling actions?

Could this be due to violated zones? A zone may be force-armable on away but not on stay. If you have voice announcements disabled you may never know. The regular keypad has a display to tell you, but the arming station does not. You have to use the lights(green, blinking green, no green).

I only have one zone that is force-armable, and it's secure. The other keypads in this area all work as intended, it's just this one.
