structured wiring tip of the day (sort of) ...

While checking out the local mall, I noticed Joanns (craft store) is going out of business, and had big sales. So I checked it out (since my wife loves that store), and they had these labels on sale:

They are pretty cheap to begin with, so I started thinking, these could be really useful in a structured wiring environment, much cheaper than trying to print them with a label maker, so I bought 2 of these packages (one for the wire, one for the outlet itself).

Good or bad idea? I don't know, but with a 40% discount, I don't have much to lose :)

So you went in for your wife...uh huh. :p

Except I get 600+ labels per pack :) I found out Wal*Mart sells them for 99 cents. Of course, the wire labels on the HD site might stick better on wire than the ones I posted, but will give it a try anyways,.
