Suggestions for a mulitchannel amplifier.

I'm cobbling together an inexpensive whole-home audio system, piece by piece. I'm unfamiliar with this area of home automation ...

I acquired a Vaux Lattis LE-800 Audio Matrix Switcher from eBay recently (~$50 w/shipping). Now I'm looking for an inexpensive multichannel amplifier to use with the switcher. I saw a Niles SI-1200 for less than $250 but I'd like some guidance regarding what I should be looking for in a multichannel amp.

Can anyone recommend something that I might find on eBay?

PS
I'm not an audiophile ... just looking for a decent amp to use with the switcher. The whole thing will be controlled by my HA system (and not via dedicated keypads). Speakers will be bookshelf units unless I find the time to install something in the ceiling. I guess I should add that I need at least four zones.

Since that Matrix switch basically controls everything you could get by with any power amp that has a level-sensing on trigger. I would look at the 12 channel models such as the HTD. But really any of the popular 12 channel amps will probably be sufficient for what you are asking.
