Time rule not working

I have an ELK M1G. I have created a rule for testing purposes that will email the first email address setup in the XEP at a certain time. The rule is below:

WHENEVER THE TIME IS 1:00AM THEN SEND EMAIL MESSAGE 1 TO [email protected]

The X represents a personal email address. I have this address programmed into the XEP and have verified it does work when I click test. The time is set by NTP and verified correct, but the rule does not work. Any ideas?

Not sure if this will be helpful or not, but it you're testing the rule while connected to the panel, the email can't be sent because the expander is tied up talking to the RP program. If you disconnect from the panel and the appointed time you have set in your rule comes around then it should send the email fine. There are a lot of little nuances regarding sending emails from the M1G, hopefully your set up will be straight forward.

I'd offer a few suggestions but you've probably already tried this and I mainly just fumble around blindly until I end up fixing whatever problem I have :0)

I believe this is no longer the case in one of the newer firmware versions released this year.

Hmmmm.... I must need to do another update then, my elk won't email when I'm connected via RP.
