Trashed, but different closet...

This first pic is the front of my wiring closet. The closet is under my main stairs, so it was rough concrete and short ceiling. I used Sam's club rubber mats and put two layers on the floors, and 1 layer on the walls and ceiling to avoid injury and make it comfortable to work in.

As you round the corner, you can see the wiring nightmare I am still cleaning up...

Wow, very creative with the rubber mats! Maybe some telephone punch blocks would help with your wiring challenge?
