Two different pim hai 36a00 devices?

I have two upb PIM's that behave differently and even have different logos? Is the LED supposed to be orange or green when idle? Which one is the newer of the two?

Funny - I have SAI PIM's and have noticed similar...  the lights will be different colors and status at the same time.  They're all attached together too...
 

 
No clue why - never looked into it as long as they work as expected.
 
For yours, I'm pretty sure the one on the left is the newer one based on the logo.

I talked to HAI and the amber light indicates Gen I.
