I have been using an SA UPB powerline interface module to bench test the Elk M1 and a couple of UPB lights. I've been switching it back and forth between the M1 (for testing) and my computer (for reconfiguration of the devices in Upstart). Upstart now finds the PIM on the proper port but reports 0.00 for the firmware version, and won't let me edit, program, view, etc. any devices. It also says my firmware is out of date and I need something beyond 3.05.
I have been switching between the M1 and the computer for the last couple of days without a problem, and the only thing I can think of that may have caused the issue is that earlier today I downloaded a sample .upb file from the CT "best threads" section on UPB. But who knows?
Is there any way or any program to flash the PIM with the original firmware version 4.17. The Elk M1 and XSP still transmit commands via the PIM (which I guess does not surprise me since the PIM probably just acts as a conduit in the Elk system), but I need Upstart for configuration.
Thanks.
