Upstart Link Edit

Hi..

I am new to upb Upstart Software

how do we edit link to add event (time schedule) I want appliance to start every day at 5:00 PM and i am not able to program it

I was testing software with SA appliance moulder and i was not able to edit like

can some one help me on this

What device do you have that will handle the time? One of the plug in timer controllers? The switches by themselves don't have any circuitry for that.

I am using UMC DB9 Computer interface Module with Serial Port Connected to my computer running Upstart

I want to activate Appliance Module UMA-20-W every evening before sunset for 3 Hr

Can i set this up in Upstart Link and keep my computer on all time with uptart running

How can i edit link to set this up?

Unless I'm reading this all wrong you can't. Upstart is only used to program the UPB devices. There has to be something else involved weather it's software or hardware based that tells the switch when to go on or off.

It is the Softwere Upstart I have seen a file on this Forum which i opened in upstart and the Link has Time event which send message to switch to go on or off at setup time

I try to edit link but i am not able to add the event in this link

Sorry, UpStart can not control devices by itself. It is used for configuration and testing. I wonder if you are thinking about the Visual Scheduler or something. See this thread for more info.

I'm afraid you are misunderstanding what you mentioned you read here. If you give us the link or quote what you read maybe we can clear it up.
