Uverse router - Broadband cable RJ45 Pinouts

I have Uverse service I asked a tech (he was driving an ATT truck) to make up a Broadband cable as I wanted to move furniture.
He was kind enough to do it but it does not work -- (Red light on broadband -on router).

I can't see the wires on the existing short cable.
I want to make my own

Where can I find the pin-outs so I can make my own RJ45 cable.

Thanks

Frisco Dave

Are you talking about a regular ethernet cable from one of the 4 LAN ports to a pc or external switch? You just use a regular T-568B ethernet cable like this. I'm guessing the tech who made you one just messed it up. But the techs normally carry long ones (like 14 feet or so) on their truck in case you see another one.

I have problems with colors therefore making cables but have used this drawing lately to make numerous custom length cables. Tab down on the drawing. Works for me. I always test the connections with a tester once completed.

Thank you for the pin-out, One further question is the wiring the same for the other end?

Yes, it is.

In fact, I have been out without my cheat Sheet (See attached) and when I need to make a cable, I just alphabetize the colors (ie blue,blue-white,brown,brown-white,green,green-white,orange,orange-white). The standard police may bust me, but the cables test out, and work fine. I never have gone more than 100' though.
