During this year's CES expo, Verizon showed off its new home automation platform (based on 4Home). It looks like Verizon has officially launched the service, which costs $10/month, plus equipment cost, and supports most Z-Wave devices on the market. Verizon is joining other companies such as ADT, Comcast, and Vivint, making home automation more accessible to the general public.
