Waterproof Remote Control?

I have just begun searching for a waterproof remote control for my bathroom. I am planning on installing a 19 inch LCD and would like to be able to change channels from the tub while soaking.

Any suggestions?

I would rather not pay $150. Ugh.

I understand that the target audience for people who want to have a waterproof remote is probably limited... lol

I have never heard anyone using 'Dogpile' as a verb, interesting

Depending on how important looks are, you could probably waterproof your existing remote. Search for 'diy waterproof' and you will get many hits (mp3 players, etc).

As long as you aren't going to submerge the remote in the tub, you could just stick it in a ziplock bag (or use one of those food sealers?)

Well at Cocoontech a more high tech solution might be applied as you could use Voice Recognition to change channels and volume.

Zimmer62 (Homeseer forum) put a regular X10 remote in a food vacuum bag. I've also seen people just putting the remotes in a Ziplock type bag (I was going to use the Freezer bags myself, they seem thicker and are designed to keep out freezer burn...so my thought is they seal better than the "regular" bags).

Another option (although not totally waterproof) is the AQPC1 Water Resistant Palmpad Cover - http://www.automatedoutlet.com/Home/Remote-Controls/AQPC1
