Weigand reader problem

Hi,
I'm running out of ideas and maybe someone here can help.
I have Elk-M1 gold installed with KP-2 keypad and Weigand reader connected to keypad.
All working as expected.
Yesterday I added DHB hub and 16 zone expander module.
All went well enrolled expander but my Weigand reader stopped working and Keypad not receiving any data.
When I disconnected the expander, Weigand reader started working again.
Is there any settings that I missed or it's hardware issue?
Thanks

Yes,
Keypad on address 1,
Wireless expander-2,
Expander-3.
Panel terminated at JP3 and DHB hub last empty socket.
None of the expanders got they jumper installed.

You didn't say what wireless expander you have, or how many wireless zones you have enrolled.

In choosing address 3 for the new 16 input zone expander, did you leave enough address space for all your wireless zones?  The way it is now, you can only have 16 wireless zones. If you have more that that, it will cause conflicts on the databus, and you need to move the 16 zone expander to a higher address.

Not sure why that would cause trouble for the Weigand reader, though.  But databus problems might affect the keypad operation, too.

I have M1F wireless expander on address 2 with only 5 wireless zones enrolled.
Zones from 17-21.
Will try to move M1XIN to higher address and see whats the outcome.
Thanks

Add one component at a time until your reader stops working, that should allow you to isolate the conflict.

Start with working configuration.

Add hub, check reader.

Add expander, check reader.

Etc.

Double check your wiring and your termination on the data bus. Although, if your keypad is working at any point and the wiegand reader is not, it might be a programming or reader wiring issue.

Aside from the power connection, the wiegand reader is just connected to the keypad and not really the databus - does it have any signs of life like power or confirmation beeps?  And the keypad still works fine?

Seems unlikely but I'd double check the reader's connection to the keypad in case the little connector got coincidentally loose...

Ok,
Problem solved.
I did home run for the keypad only and the rest of the expanders thru DBH.
All working now

So I understand, you simply changed the topology of how the devices were wired and now the wiegand reader works?
