What happened to Thread Group?

Early on it seemed like they were making rapid progress.  By outward appearance, their technology seemed sound.  No surprise there, since they seemed to be adopting already well developed technology/standards.  At least on that front they seemed to be doing everything right.  
 
I think they said they had more than 80 or 100 manufacturing "partners".  Last I heard they said product would be shipping before the end of 2015.  Yet, now here it is 6 months into 2016.  I'm not seeing any discussions here, so I'm guessing it didn't happen.
