Will any brand of wired motion detecor work with the M1G?

I was interested in purchasing the DSC LC-100PL motion detector or the DSC LC-104-PIMW-W.  Both are wired and just wondering if it is compatible with the ELK M1G.

Yes, both will work.  Nothing special about motion detector compatibility with various panels.
 
Dual tech motion detectors usually are more resistant to false alarms from pets.
 
Another good dual tech detector is the Bosch Blue Line ISC-BDL2-WP12G.
