Window Bug Questions

I am curious about the 'Window Bug.' I searched the site and couldn't find anything about it.

My home has a basement with seven windows at grade. I like the idea of the Window Bug as I feel the sight of it provides an added deterrent.

Is anyone familiar with this? Any opinions? Any idea how to wire for it? (the website and manual are no help).

The pic shows it with two wires so I assume it wires just like a normal contact.
Sounds like a standard NC zone.

I'd say 22/2 is all you need.
Daisy chain them together with a single EOL resistor.

The docs desribe it as "CC" "Closed Contact" which I think is a NC from the description of how it operates.
I don't think it is powered like an acoustic glass break so no need for 12VDC wires.

2 wire, NC circuit (closed circuit=CC) unpowered. They typically have a "tuning fork" inside that reacts to a hit to the glass. They are adjusted by rotating either CW or CCW.

I don't like them personally, they're very prone to coming off the window as they age, also very ugly. Used to be more common in commercial applications prior to good quality glassbreaks or false prone areas.
