Like for example a mobile phone. Can it affect the signal or communication?

Understand that the companies that manufacture these life safety devices and systems know that the majority of home owners will have cell phones. Additionally, cell communication is a method used the allow alarm systems to dial out to central stations for reporting. They couldn't provide reliable systems if a cell phone would cause interference.
 
Having said that, if you know what system you are planning to use, you can find the spec sheets on the various sensors and locate their operating frequencies.

Generally entirely different frequencies (although the old 900 MHz cordless phones and the same systems and standalone RF devices had issues back in the day). For the most part, there aren't too many issues out in the wild, as long as you stick to "tried and true" hardware. Anything other than that, good luck.
