Looking for workorder tracking software/app. Nothing heavy, no time management or accounting needed. Need something for we can create in the office and let the techs fill in from the field. We simply want to give the techs a simple conduit to document what they did on each support call, then we can bill, etc. from the office. We don't want ties to Quicken, or any other accounting or tracking system.
Any suggestions? But please keep it to only what you have experience with, not 'try this, it looks good' or comments from software vendors.
Freeware would be best, but pay is fine if reasonable. What we've been finding are outrageous per-tech monthly figures (like $50 per month/tech) for what amounts to full blown time management software, and that's not what we need.
