totally new.

been looking at zwave, the local ac is 220v, looking at the leviton VRCS2-MR VRCS4-MR/VRCZ4-MR, the diagram specifies either 110v/220v, does this mean i can use this combo switch without modifications, just wired it in and it "auto-sense" the voltage?

thanks

What are you trying to control on the AC? If just the temps etc, there are several Z-Wave enabled thermostats available that will control your AC. I recently installed a Trane model that works pretty good. It requires the 24v common wire to be present from the AC unit. There are other brands that will run on batteries if the 24v irequirement is an issue.

The unit was a breeze to install and came with instructions on how to identify the wires on your current tstat and how to connect those.

Here's a fleaBay auction for one. It's intended for reference only. I have no connection with the seller.
