You can use Homeseer / DSC and then use MainLobby as a user interface via the MLHSPlugin. HS and ML are a very popular combination.
You can use MainLobby by itself, but there is currently no DSC driver, so that's not a great combination.
MainLobby and an ELK EZ or M1 or HAI are good combinations.
I would wait and install an ELK and you then have lots of software choices.
