Thanks for your feedback. Please download the update and install it and try it again.
Also please download from our web site under support->documentation the WC32 rev07 hw spec. That is our current production board.
Please note rev07 board allows 5.5V to 24V power supply range, due to its switcher IC for power regulation. It does not heat up. Its absolute max power supply is 26V. Supply voltage beyond 26 will damage the switcher IC.
However, all beta WC32 has regulator, we would not recommend to use beta boards with more than 10V for operating in hot environment.
