Software or hardware handshake for OmniPro 2 serial port

Can anyone tell me if the OmniPro 2 uses software or hardware handshake for the serial port?

Guessing it is software handshaking.   
 
Just a guess cuz I made up / extended most of my serial port cables and always used only 3 wires for the serial connection; RX, TX and ground.
