Is there a wired version of smoke alarm audio detectors, such as this GE Interlogix Firefighter smoke alarm detector? I assume something like this exists for wired systems.
The reason I gave up trying to hardwire smoke detectors into the elk and instead bought 8 nest protects for my house (a 1920's 8000 sq ft estate/money pit). There were only two hardwired smoke detectors in this giant four storey house, and retrofitting wiring was proving to be too difficult. The nests are nice, but I would like for my Elk M1 panel to alert monitoring station and open the driveway gates if the smoke alarms do go off. These wireless smoke detector audio systems seem like the best way to get the modern features of today's smart smoke alarms, and still have integration with the Elk.
