I was thinking about getting one of these, but need to wall mount it in the kitchen. I have seen some solutions on the internet to wallmount this model, but they look like they would viod the warranty (drill into the case.) If anyone has a better soltion, I'd be interested in hearing it. Now...

    Automating Belkin Surge

I am considering picking up a few of these devices: http://www.belkin.com/conserve/ I was hoping for a way to automate the process of cutting off devices that use phantom energy (TVs, monitors, recievers, printers, etc) when I was away or at night. I would like a way to automatically flip...

    Centralite LiteJet and TED

I have a Centralite LiteJet http://www.centralite.com/ which is a lighting controller that allows me to create lighting scenes (for example several lights can be set at various dim levels to make up the scene.) I recently purchased TED http://www.theenergydetective.com, and have discovered...

    centralight litejet and omnipro

PC Software. You connect to the PC through the serial port. Easy. 30 Yes/yes 12 timed events native on the Centralite, yet I put all timed event on the Elk instead. yes There is a light that indicates whether the load/scene is off/on Yes, loads, buttons, and scenes are all setup seperatly...

    centralight litejet and omnipro

re: UPB ... This just means that the Centralite can send powerline commands to upb devices. You define the load in the Centralite software, and these loads can participate in Centralite scenes, etc. Even though I haven't tried this, I would suspect it would not be as reliable as hardwired...

    centralight litejet and omnipro

The LiteJet has 2 serial ports. I use one for programming the lights, switches and scenes, etc. and the other as a connection to the Elk. The Elk has 2 way communication with the Litejet, so it can adjust lights based on its own events (like arming/disarming the alarm), and it can react to...

    centralight litejet and omnipro

I use the LiteJet, but with the Elk. I am interfacing with the Elk using ICQ. I am still in the remodeling phase of my house, so haven't had a lot of time to tinker with the software (specificall ICQ), but my initial tests have been successful. The biggest complaint I hear with LiteJet is the...

    Last post about TR-16.

I have the tr-16, and I control it with the Elk with none of the problems that you are experiencing ( the Elk changes the setpoints based on arming/disarming the alarm in "Away" mode.) Do you still have the problems with the setpoints changing if you disconnect the ELk from the TR-16...
