    IE11 editing problems

Hi, Pete,   During the day, I'm at work. IE is the browser we must use, and we cannot install other browsers.    Thanks, Kevin

    Rachio for sprinklers?

Hi, az,   Went to help out with the list, but the two I'm familiar with are not there:   HydroFLASH  www.hyrdroflash.net/   EtherRain  www.quicksmart.com/qs_etherrain.html   If you add columns for these, I can update the info.   Kevin

I'm having the same problem. Setting to Compatibility Mode doesn't help. Makes it difficult to participate.   Thank you, Kevin

    M1 Touch Pro Android Software

I don't remember about the M1 Touch Pro app, but the myKeypad Pro can access and show the logs. At least I assume so. I only have the free version, and if I tap on the logs icon, it brings up a link to "Go Pro" to see the logs. BSR can confirm since he has the Pro version.   Kevin

    M1 Touch Pro Android Software

You're welcome, BSR.   I vaguely remember having to make sure something was checked to use myKeypad.   Since you're using the Pro version, is there something you find lacking?   Thank you, Kevin

    M1 Touch Pro Android Software

Good morning, BSR.   I did have some initial problems on some of my phones/tablets. During setup, once it establishes a connection, it needs to do an initial sync. Some of the devices would say syncing, but would not progress. I had to initialize a couple of times, but once it did sync, it...

    M1 Touch Pro Android Software

I used it last month, and uninstalled it. It works well enough, but it currently is only sized for phones; does not size well on tablets. Plus, it doesn't do landscape. The developer is very responsive and is going to let me know when they correct those deficiencies.   Kevin

    Security/video system recommendations

You are looking at a narrow purpose of an alarm system, Mike. Sure, if you only want to deter burglary, then I agree, having it monitored rarely results in apprehension of the burglar.   IMHO, if you're going to monitor, you should have burglary, fire, and CO monitored. Here are some points to...

    ELK M1 DST issue again?

Mine correctly updated Sunday morning. Last night when I got home, it was an hour ahead. I manually changed it to the correct time. As of this morning, it's still correct.   An alarm panel is something you rely on being bullet-proof. This continuing problem is unsettling.   Kevin

    Eight Channel DVR

Practically any IP camera will do. I have a variety of IQinVision cams and an Acti connected to my NVR.   Most NVR manufacturers have a list of compatible cams.

Cool, Monk. Since I have more than eight cams, I wish I had your new unit!   Good luck with it.   Kevin

Migrate HA Server from Homeseer to ?

Hi, Dean,   Back in 2005/2006 when I was designing the home I built in 2007, I narrowed my HA choices between CQC and HS. Other than writing some macros, I've never done any programming so was nervous about CQC. I went with HS Pro. I've been relatively happy with HS Pro, and have quite a few...

    Elk WSV2...WSV but better.

Am I reading that correctly? It's now rated for outdoors? That's what's been holding me back. I'm in FL, so no basement or crawlspace. Have to install outside.

    Eight Channel DVR

You're welcome, Monk.   I looked at the link on your original post, and it's for the 2108 Pro. I missed that the first time. This is the new updated model of my 2008 Pro. You may want to call QNAP Security and ask them about the difference. I would think it would be faster than mine.   Good...

    Eight Channel DVR

I'm not sure, Pete. I've never tried it. I would like to get better control over the motion events, but haven't had time to look into it.
