    Help! Sentrol 5822A-W and ElkM1

I finally figured this out after many many hours of trouble shooting. Turns out there is a tamper button on the glass break. But if you put the glass break in the housing the wrong way it doesn't push the switch in. Ironically, the first 10 glass breaks I installed happened to be the right...

Did you ever figure this out? I'm in the same boat.

What to use for drawing home layout

Hi Mavric, We've found many DIYers and Dealers encounter this same issue. They try to make them look good, but they never seem to translate properly. So we, Cinemar, came up with a Floorplan Design Service that's been hugely successful and created by professional designers...

    MainLobby Graphic Library Problem

No prob BSR. Let me know if you need any more help. There's a cool new Wind Direction gauge in the latest release of MainLobby that you'll want to use if you get up-to-speed with the latest versions. Matches the same gauges we are now using for the Energy Management display.

    MainLobby Graphic Library Problem

Ahh...a picture is worth a thousand words. What you are seeing in screenshot 1 is actually not a gray box, but one of the first buttons in the core library. This occurs because you most likely placed an external image/swf before this button. We designed it to place a duplicate of the last...

    The Energy Detective

Digger, I have roughly 40 Insteon switches and have not noticed any Insteon issues. In our original research, we couldn't find anyone online with TED and Insteon issues. I did find some reports of X10 and TED issues.

    The Energy Detective

Yes - there should be no issues - you will need the TED Footprints software as well.

    The Energy Detective

Yeah - you could turn it into an incentive program for the kids - have them try to beat last years energy usage during that month. The money saved at the end of the month could then be used to treat the kids to their favorite food place or returned to their piggy bank. I'll bet you'll hear...

    The Energy Detective

Digger, I gave about 20 demos this weekend of my personal system and after they viewed the Energy Management interface, I had an overwhelming number of people saying they would benefit from this after their last energy bill. It's really cool to turn on/off lights and see the gauges move in...

    MainLobby Graphic Library Problem

Can you post a sample of the gray box that you are seeing? My first thought that this was an Adobe Flash issue but need to see this gray box to find out if it's something we create or not. Are you running on a low powered device with perhaps little memory?

    Vizia rf + (plus)?

Anyone know how the integrated IR port works? Is it just for lighting or possibly controlling other components?

    Home in 3D

Thanks Xpendable, I actually took a 360 degree panorama shot on top of my truck right where the house was going prior to construction. So the image mapped onto a cylinder rather than a sphere. So as I did renderings from inside the home, which is what I did the most, you'd actually see the...

    Home in 3D

David, The renderings look great. I designed my entire house in Lightwave3D about 4 years ago (just prior to building) and it was instrumental in helping to select all sorts of items during the building process like: brick, siding, roofing, roof lines, ceiling heights, arch curve dimensions...
