Do people actually watch 3D TV?

if you get the right 3D Tech it's actually not bad. You must get active 3D glasses and have the hardware to support it. I have had my Sharp Pro for 2yrs now. I own 20+ 3d movies as a result. The wife and kids love it, just not all of the time, and it has to be the right movie. But I suspect I am...

Alarm output 2 and the 941 siren board?

The "-" of output 2 is not the same as the "-" of VAux, there is a difference of potential of ~9v. The minus or ground of output 2 isn't a ground at all. It is only a ground when referenced to the "+" of output two.    Anyway, once I put a voltmeter on the output I realized I needed to use the...

Alarm output 2 and the 941 siren board?

I am trying to hookup my siren to output 2 so that Burg and Fire are the corect output sound. Steady for burg, and yelp for fire. So I purchased an ELK-941 output director, thinking this would fix my problem. And well it didn't, the siren and board draw more then output 2 supports so I an trying...

2 wire and 4 wire smokes on elk?

Yes - for the zones at the panel but not if you want all of the smokes to also trip locally, The smokes would have to support that. But maybe I am not understanding the question, ... Caffine. -Skybolt

2 wire and 4 wire smokes on elk?

You might want to look at "Tandem" smoke detectors, they are usally 110v powered and have a common wire which will trigger the other detectors. GE makes a nice one (350CX) which I use with the ELK in 2 wire mode, it has form A and C relays on it. If there all in one zone you only need one GE...

    HomeSeer

I responded to that thread and was very direct and to the point in expressing my disappointment to the status of HST. I aslo pointed out that it is a tremendous effort to tackle a project such as this. I was not banned from the HS forum. I have also placed many help desk tickets on HSTouch as...

    Elk web page

There should be an option when accessing the elk web page to add the user code in the url like: http://192.168.x.x/&USERCODE=xxxx That would be a nice addition for the ethernet interface. But tthat's just my opinion -Skybolt

Is it possable not to have the elk require a login, if the login is from the local subnet? Or turn login's off all together? Having to type in th euser code is killing me with my touch screen app. Thanks, Skybolt

    ELK M1G and X10

Yep, it's on pg7 as murphy pointed out, but that's the only spot mentioned that I could find. And yep my AB8SS had pins 3 & 4 reversed. I thought the PSC05 was always a standard straight pass through. Oh well live and learn again and again and... Thanks, -Skybolt

    ELK M1G and X10

Steve - The light is setup as Standard. And don't I feel stupid. Just for the hell of it, I tried a standard 4 wire phone cable - and everything worked like a charm. Not to sure why it works with the ab8ss speaker switch though, as the new phone cable also works fine. Probably an intermittent 3...
