I have some door/window sensors that work fine.
I have a M1XRFEG installed in my attic.
Since I have the motion on the main floor, I decided to install a second M1XRFEG on the main floor.
Not sure if I have it setup correct, but I am not seeing a difference.
I have it enrolled and I can see...
I had it in the house last night.
Cleaned it out and new battery.
Walking close to the room it is in triggered it.
Mounted it back outside. My car driving close would not set it off.
Had to wave my hand 12" from the sensor to trigger it.
It was 65F out.
Have a Honeywell wireless motion under my car port. Outside but not in any weather.
It used to work perfect, but after 5 years, plus another 5 from when I bought it.
The range of detection is like 5 foot now.
Is this normal?
I did just replace both batteries with no improvement.
Running...
4X Outletlinc 2473S 2X face is dirty/paint overspray as they were on the covered porch, will probably clean up. $40 for all 4
2X Switchlinc toggle switches - not sure if these work - free when you buy something else.
2X Access Point 2443 These plug in and allow you to connect across...
I have the keyfob enrolled and it seems to work.
Arm does arm away and disarm works. (top 2 buttons)
Bottom two buttons are separate from the top, but also work.
Light = Arm Stay
* - Disarm
I would rather use Light and * for something else.
Like lock the zwave doors or turn the lights on.
DEL, you always seem to have an answer.
The beep was a typical keypad beep, not the error one.
I could not manually set my alarm either.
I have a motion sensor error that would not allow me to set it.
I disabled the motion, now I can set the alarm with the keyfob.
I have the light flashing green.
I just get a beep at my keypad.
So the Elk knowns when a button is pressed.
The button is just not doing anything.
This might be an Elk program issue?
They are honeywell wireless motion sensors.
They are outside the house where no one should ever be (back yard, back porch etc..
I don't have any elk speakers, I have an EZ8 panel. Can I add sound to this?
I think the siren is too load to use as a signal
