12V alarm

When our sprinklers were put in, they installed a ringer but unfortunately it is a 24V model. I don't want to setup up a 24V battery backed system. I have backed up 12V supplies ready to power the ringer but I don't know what to get. Any recommendations on an exterior red ringer (for our flow switch).

Did a quick check for you at System Sensor and only found 120 and 24 VAC bells.

I have seen some by a company that starts with and "A" (cant remember the name but may be Amseco??). They are UL Listed and 12 Vdc and less than 100 ma if I remember correctly. I will look in my files tonight if I have time.

I use Amseco bells on my fire alarm and like them. The imprtant thing is to get motorized bells and not the circuit interrupting vibrate type. (ie not the kind they have at the local hardware store).

The Amseco one is what I was thinking about. Never used it but I found it doing some research for when I thought I would need a low current bell.
