18V 5a power supply

Hi,

I am in search of an 18V DC power supply that can supply about 6A@18VDC.

I've been searching, but haven't found anything yet. I am suffering from too much cabling and need to simplify.

Ideally, I'd like to wall mount the unit and cable over to the 4 components I need to power.

I thought I ask here to get some ideas.

18VDC is a pretty unusual voltage. If you find something, I bet it won't be cheap, since it is unusual. What type of units are you powering? Any chance they would accept 24VDC?

They are Audio Authority matrix switching equipment. I have the head unit and 4 distribution units.

I can check on that voltage...good idea.

mouser.com seemed to have some options around $75. give them a browse if you can't find what you're looking for elsewhere.

If you have a Menards near you, you could check there. I bought one a couple of years ago for like $10. No idea on the amperage though.

Actually, the HP notebooks that I have seen lately use 18V supplies.
