5.7e and touchscreen hub

Just added a HAI 8 touchscreen hub and an Omnitouch 5.7e - everything was working great before the seamingly simple install - It's my understanding that that touchscreen hub is suppose to supply the poe power for the touch screen but I'm not getting any voltage on the lan outputs. I've checked all the wiring and tried powering up the touchscreen with a poe injector and the touchscreen boots up but no communication. Also when I plug in the power supply for the hub then the standard push button interface freezes up until the hub is unplugged and the Omnipro 2 is power cycled. I have no problems communicating with the omnipro 2 from my computer using dealer software and the status is giving a bad comm warning for expansion enclosure 1 ??? Also, I have the low batt outputs from the hub on zone 9 configured as a trouble zone but the omnipro 2 doesn't even know zone 9 is wired.... any help would be great...

I am not very familair with the touchscreen hub but it is is intended to be used with the 5.7...not the 5.7e. The 5.7e connects directly to your network ...not the touchscreen hub. Your network needs to supply the poe directly or via a poe injector.

I was wondering about that but then how does your touchscreen receive the ccd camera inputs from the security system?

Cannot help you on that point. I am using a 5.7e but my cameras are IP cameras. To access my IP cameras, I had to buy Automation Studio to configure my 5.7e.

Ok, so I just plugged my 5.7e into my router and tried to boot the touchscreen, it says aquiring IP and has for the last 30 min - tried the reset button with the same result. Any ideas on how to get back to the setup menu?

Press and hold finger on the screen. Should bring up the setup screen
