Finally starting to setup my OPII panel. A few simple questions. Much of this hardware I don't have installed yet so I can't experiment.
1) I've installed a couple UPB switches and got them setup with Upstart. No real plans for scenes, my lighting will be mostly just simple on/off and dimming. I will eventually have about 40 UPB devices over time. Is there a good strategy to follow in setting up the UPB devices in the HAI Dealer PC access I'm thinking about the HAI "unit numbers" I see they seem to be grouped in 16 groups of 16. I would hate to set things up and learn after a while I really should have done things differently.
2) I plan on having several Somfy shades (ST30 ILT RS485) controlled by the OPII panel. One way I plan on telling the OPII to control the shades is via UPB using the Simply Automated US28OTP 8 button table top controller. Press one button and the shade goes all the way up, press another button and they go all the way down. Is this doable? And if so how do I set this up in PC Access?
3) Under Zones in PC access I have Zone 16 for my two RC2000 thermostats. Under "zone type" I don't see "thermostat". The closest entry to pick from seems to be "temperature". Is this correct?
Thanks.
