Access control reader not reporting status

I just noticed that using the request to exit input of the reader, the actual status will not display (lock or unlock?). Is this a known limitation?

I seem to recall a previous thread about that... was there a firmware update for it?

I searched but could'nt find one. Maybe HAI can confirm this issue

The HAI controller does not track the use of the hardware "press to exit" input. There is no firmware update available for this. A contact on the door could be used to monitor when the door is opened, if desired.
