ACT ZDW120 - Status updates in HS

Hey guys, getting some conflicting information on these dimmers. Most places that I read says these switches WILL NOT do instant status updates through HS, but the SmartHome site says they will.

Which is it?

It might depend on its firmware level. I seem to remember a thread about these over on the homeseer board. The older ones did, newer ones no.

Of course, Im gettin old. Could have been something entirely different.

The current version we sell does not support status updates. This feature was removed nearly 3 years ago. Unless they have some of the older stock, I wouldn't get your hopes up!

Yeah, talked to one of the guys there this morning and they don't even have any of the act switches in stock.

That said, I'm still looking, so any reccomendstions of what switches(dimmers) to use? Both those with auto status updates and those without (I can always just poll them)...

Btw, I know this question is asked a lot but the thread is already going, so why not ask
