Another Double hung window question

Does anyone have a favorite elk compatible wireless sensor for double hung windows?

The other thing I was considering was a wireless sensor on the screen. I guess that if someone cut the screen, I would be out of luck. Any thoughts on the best was to deal with this would be appreciated.

Some people are talking about Micra sensors, but I don't think anyone actually got one yet.

As far as someone cutting the screen, either use motion sensors, or put the sensor about 4 inches up from the bottom and mount two magnets on the window side. One up 4" for when the window is closed, and one at the bottom so you can open the window 4". Then if someone opens it further to get through, it will trigger the alarm.

If you're really concerned about the screens i have sene people post about special screens that have conductors through them and somehow trigger when they are cut.

I'm sure they are expensive and i woudl think probably have a high false alarm rate..but i wanted to throw that option out there for you.

I can't even tell you how many screens I've had cut on my rental property. I started replacing the windows with ones that have the screen on the inside. People cut them even when the window is closed. And this year, the damn squirrels started chewing through them, which is something you may have to be concerned about where you live. They chewed through metal screens, really thick durable metal self-proclaimed pest-proof screens.
