Any references for HAI installer in St Louis?

The professional forum is just a bit dead (April 2014) so I am posting this here...

I have a 3,200 sq ft house with old wiring run in series.  Luckily it's all easily accessible in the basement.  I already ran four cat6 and RG6 to every room. Unfortunately, I still have to punch all those down into panels..oh fun!

Anyway I have to install/rework the security system to upgrade to use my HAI Omnipro II, either rerun or splice the cables to at least separate the rooms (new wire if every window gets its own) etc etc

Too much for just me and my limited time.  Only found two companies with any HAI experience, both which want to tie me to monitoring contracts, were not big fans of that.

Hopeful someone on here can point me in the right direction to an independent or a trusted company.

Thanks!

Actually, that does not work any more.

Worse I called Leviton / HAI to find out the information.  Their ONLY way to communicate this information is to direct you to www.homeauto.com, then click on "contact us now".  They then request detailed contact info and have a 72 hr window to reply to you.

That is just straight up craptastic customer service.

So I am looking for a reputable general alarm system installer who can run the wires and set up the box.  I can make the connections and do the programming myself if need be.

Speak up people!  :D

It's been a few years now that I tried similar with a post construction pre-wired for alarm home.   I did also add more LV wiring during construction.

3 calls to 3 different companies that just pretty stated they didn't know anything about the HAI panel.

They just tried to sell me on an 5-8K installation of their own hardware.  I think I posted here on CT about said endeavor.

I installed the panel myself over some 3-4 days taking my time while giving me something to do while on vacation.

I would keep looking for LV wiring folks / company.  If they want the business they will do it.

You may want to post your request on the Worthington Distribution forum http://www2.worthingtondistribution.com/forum/

Their HAI forum is essentially dead but the moderators check it on a regular basis.  The reason I suggest Worthington is that they were very heavily involved in training HAI installers for years.  But it appears that they stopped the training almost two years ago.  Although their training primarily targeted PA, NJ and NY, they may have contacts in your area.  Hopefully, the Worthington HAI forum moderators can provide some leads.

Good luck.
