Anyone using HAI's WL3 Software?

O.K. but this thread is really about controlling an HAI System from an iPhone or iPod touch.

Maybe I misunderstood. I am sorry. I thought you were really concerned about cost.

My bad. I guess I am the cheap one. (I also assumed that everyone knows the iphone/itouch apps works fine with the AHP SDK). I only meant to say, I think $300 bucks is a lot of money. But I didn't/don't care to demean anyones setup.

No problem.

So after sometime with WL3, it does seem to work well, but I still agree its way too expensive. The @Home app for the iPhone is free, but I don't think it ever has been updated, so likely the author has lost interest. WL3 isn't actually updated much either, but it doesn't have any major bugs and HAI does respond to tech support requests. I doubt they have sold many copies of WL3, so I guess they need to get their money back somehow.

thats great news. would it be possible to post some screenshots of the iphone ui? on the hai website it has 1 pic, but i would like to see the various screens for lighting, hvac, music, etc. also, since it is not a native iphone app and relies on safari for access, how do you find the speed of it? i would have preferred if it were native app.
