I have 2 touch lamps in the house my kids use. I found that if you unplug the lamp while the light is on, when you plug it back in the light is off.
So I have 2 relays modules on their lamps that cycle off for about 30 seconds when I want the lights to go off.
This leaves the lights working for them and the ability for me to shut them off.
I don't know if this would work for all touch lamps.
