Automating Door Strike/Electric Lock

Hi guy,
 
I have an existing setup where my door strike/electric lock is hooked up to my intercom (12v using two wires from the intercom to the door strike). Pressing the "unlock" button unlocks the door strike. I want to keep this, and add another source to unlock the door strike. Can I do this, and how would I go abotu the wiring to make sure no current is sent back to the intercom unit? Also, are there any bluetooth/rfid solutions that I could use here?

add a relay,  and then use that to isolate the two sources.
