Is it possible to connect nest thermostat third generation to elk m1xsp? If so, how do I go about? or is it just a waste of elk hardware to go this route?
 
Also, could some one recommend a good water leak sensor (both wired and wireless). Thanks

I think AprilAire, RCS (with serial control) and Leviton OmniStat's thermostats should work.

I use the GRI 2600 sensor. It's a 4-wire sensor that is monitored - if it fails it will alarm.
