This is great news since I am thinking of adopting a new backbone protocol based on the old BSR Ultrasonic Command Console.
Hey, I have two of those BSR Ultrasonic Command Consoles, and I still use them.

Dean, If I write an CQC 'ultrasonic' driver for Mike and I, can I get a free license? :)

What are those? Are they something that would be generally useful?
Yes! They were generally used in 1981.

Oh, OK  I missed the joke there. Sorry about that.

You just gave away your "newcomer" status.

I understand that comment was in a joking manor but since I just asked dean only a few minutes befor about his history I figured I would defend him by relaying his responce. By no means is he a NEWB! :) He just doesnt get out much!

That is http://www.pulseworx.com/ for anybody else searching. Do you have any pricing examples?
No, I don't. I looked quickly at their site and they don't mention it... so I assume this is new. I also assume that this price change will work it's way down and soon Martin (and others) will be lowering prices.

Maybe Martin will carry them, right now they aren't on his web site. I think that is due to their high prices. Hopefully they will drop enough to be lower than the other UPB stuff.

Does UPB from one manufacturer always able to talk to another manufacturer's UPB device?

For example X10 is X10 right? - well kinda, you got Leviton Extended Dim as example that isn't standard across all X10

Similar situation with UPB?
