Black & Decker

Info says "no wiring required" and shows someone attaching something to the electric meter. Probably has a line clamp that reads current and transmits it to the hand held device.

Same item as "powercost monitor" from www.bluelineinnovations.com

The"powercost monitor' is $150 up here (Ontario) but this B&D one is only $99 for Americans.

I don't think there is a Homeseer plug in for this unit (yet) ?

I remember reading in the docs that the "blueline" one does multiple rates also.

I got one here in Canada ($99CDN at Canadian Tire) and installed it 48hrs ago, it works surprisingly well. It optically reads your meter and transmits it to the station (which looks like a weather station). In the two days, it is with the rounding error of what my digital meter reads. It takes about 15 minutes (at the most to install).

Cheers,
Rob
