Camera Power Supplies

Well I got it wholesale for about $90 plus shipping. (It's kinda heavy)
I sell them in my radio store. (Special order)

That's a good price, I'll have to keep that in mind when I am ready to order one of these.

Hey BSR

Just because my power supply is bigger than your power supply, there is no reason to get sacrastic with me...  :P  :D  :P

Seriously I use the P/S to run radio gear as well as whatever else I want ('cause I can...)
I keep forgeting your a ham guy :D ! Your typical HA enthusiast doesn't have power like this (though I am impressed :D )!!

That Elk camera power supply is nice, but some of my cameras require more that 250mA.
As electron said, they can be combined. But there is also a high-current version that you could check out.

I have the Elk Power Distribution module as well, and use it to power my camera, ocelot, secu16, and a bunch of other hardware.
Thanks for the tip on the Elk power distribution module. I just ordered one using the free shipping code Martin gave us in another post.

electron--

Just looked at your pic. What do you have the PD9 attached to? Did you customize that panel insert?

Also, what do you use to label your wires? That's nice and neat!

I use a regular brother label printer, but it looks like I need to wrap some regular scotch tape around the label since they seem to be coming lose after a few months.

The PD9 is attached to a blank 'plate', you can buy them from many places, including AutomatedOutlet.com. I bought 4 of those blank plates from AO, since they can be useful for so many other things. The one thing I would like to recommend is that you find a powersupply which can match the max. limits of this PD9 unit. I made the mistake of buying a 1.2A powersupply, and I need more power already ;)
