Can't enroll garage tilt switch 46A00-1

On a new OmniPro II system (v3.7) with a 45A00 Wireless receiver, I want to use the Door/Window Transmitter in Tilt mode for the rolling garage door. Instructions say to enroll it with all three jumpers in place (Reed Mode) then remove the magnet. It enrolls fine this way but then after I remove the jumpers (to got to Tilt Mode) and put the cover back on, the wireless receiver shows it as tripped - "AL" on the wireless receiver LED output. One cannot reset it in any orientation, nor by removing the battery, bringing the magnet close to the reed switch, using PC Access "Restore Zone," nor by any other maneuver. If I remove all the jumpers (for Tilt Mode) and try to enroll it, I cannot get the wireless receiver to enroll it - either by activating the tamper switch, changing the orientation and tripping the mercury switch, or by removing the battery. How do I enroll this transmitter in Tilt Mode?

After a call to the technical departments of both the vendor and HAI, I later discovered the solution. To set this switch to work in Tilt Mode instead of in Reed (Magnet) Mode, you must remove ONLY Jumper 3 and leave Jumpers 1 and 2 in place. Previously I had removed all three jumpers. Removing Jumper 3 sets the switch to work in Tilt Mode. Replace the cover on the switch and hold it in vertical (untripped) position. Then set the wireless receiver to enroll on a selected zone and tilt the transmitter from vertical to horizontal and back a couple of times. The Garage Door switch will be properly enrolled.
