Coaxial cable splitters/amps/termination what to do?

Finishing up my wiring closet, I have a bunch of RG6 hanging down from the ceiling. I have a run to each room
and need to know what's typical for termination in the wiring closet. I currently have cable, but am going to
be transitioning over to satellite boxes and probably those will be in the closet and the RG6 won't be used that much.
Is there an elegant way to affix these things to the wall somehow? I know splitters introduce losses. Should I just
leave them hang unless I need to put a box somewhere?

If you want to have a clean termination point in the closet, you can use something like the Channel Vision C-0213. It is a 8 port coaxial termination strip. You can connect all your existing runs to it, and then connect each one to a splitter, STB, tuner, etc as needed.

Also, if you're a cheap S.O.B. like me, or you have something on the order of 50+ coax terminations to make, you can always make your own via barrel connectors, nuts, and a sheet of metal. I've not created it yet, but that's what I'm doing, as the cost per termination is MUCH lower.

For mass termination (if your using a backboard as apposed to a can) I have used the sheetmetal bracket idea like beelzerob suggested. Here are a couple of pictures of at least one way to do it.

I found some rackmount blanks and made mine. It was pretty easy. I don't have a picture right now, but it looks really sharp.

that'd be sweet! It'd be nice to not have to worry if I drill the holes right for mounting it in the rack.

Hopefully whatever you find will fit the 60 or so coax connections I'll need to put in it. Heh..if I drill too many holes, I think it'd fall apart.
