Compose Support

Just wondering how each of these controllers supports the compose lights. I understand that HAI does, but I wonder what I lose if I go with the Elk controller? What are the differences in support of Compose lights?

The Elk M1 and EZ8 support Compose.

So when you say the ELK m1 supports compose, what exactly does that mean? Does it fully support the compose protocol, partially support, or is in x-10 emulation mode...

When you program a lighting device, you enable it as Compose. I am not familiar enough with Compose to know what the M1 does or does not support.

You can download the M1 manual and it should have more details on Compose. You do not need the M1XSP for compose. Only a PSC05 powerline interface.
